1. Stop playing DeAndre Jordan
In reality, the Los Angeles Lakers are not going to completely keep DeAndre Jordan out of the rotation. While he has been awful this year, he does add another body that can play minutes that Anthony Davis does not have to.
That being said, Jordan should be reserved for garbage time and get playing time that cannot negatively impact the team. Jordan has started 12 games for the Lakers this season and is averaging just under 14 minutes per game and he is not good in those 14 minutes.
He is not the same explosive presence near the rim that he once was and defensively he is a liability. Jordan is much slower in his older age and looks ancient compared to Dwight Howard, who is three years older than Jordan is.
The problem here is Anthony Davis not wanting to play much center which forces the team to give minutes to these traditional centers. If the team really needs to give minutes to these guys I would much rather see the minutes go to Howard over Jordan, who just has not been good this season.
