2. Let’s not forget about Klutch Sports’ influence over the Los Angeles Lakers

Klutch Sports, which represents LeBron James and Anthony Davis, has had an extreme influence on what the Los Angeles Lakers have done in recent years. Heck, the moment that AD ditched his old agent and signed with Rich Paul it was clear that he was forcing a trade out of New Orleans to go play with LeBron James.

Even if the Lakers did want to trade Anthony Davis and found a deal that actually makes sense (which is highly unlikely) they are not going to ever be able to do that as long as LeBron James is a Laker.

And while some basketball fans are pointing at the Cleveland Cavaliers’ success, or LeBron signing with whatever team drafts his son, LeBron is committed to the Lakers at this point. It is hard seeing him moving his family yet again this late into his career when he has such deep ties in the Los Angeles area.

It is a very well-known fact that players have the power in the NBA and the only way that the Lakers would trade Anthony Davis is if he demands a trade, which is not going to happen with LeBron still in LA.

It just is not going to happen. It does not make sense for either side and while the fans might be frustrated by it, that is the reality. This was the risk when the Lakers traded for Anthony Davis and they have to live with it.
