The story from the Los Angeles Lakers’ win:

Stanley Johnson abused Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz in the fourth quarter!

This is Lake Show Life’s best example of what Stanley Johnson did to supposedly the best center in the Western Conference in the closing minutes of this game.

Stanley Johnson is now on his third and last 10-day contract. The Lakers had better sign this dude next week based on this performance alone. He finished with 15 points (7-9 shooting!) 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks.

His collaboration with LeBron James (25 points) to basically expose Rudy Gobert on defense won this game. Johnson knocked down jumpers, hit layups and even posted Gobert up for a score. He was the main catalyst for a huge 17-4 run in crunch time when it was needed.

His huge offensive rebound that set up Avery Bradley’s 3 point shot late gave the extra push to get Los Angeles out with the win.

Russell Westbrook is on notice!

Look it was all fun and game earlier in the post-game report, but Russell Westbrook spent a ton of time on the bench in the second half. He was inserted very late in the game at the 3:48 mark. This is no longer about stats or effort because he didn’t play badly.

Watch Lake Show Life’s smoke right here…Russell Westbrook will regret those comments after the Denver game. Players just can’t just mouth off to the media about their roles and especially the way he did. You saw LeBron’s public comments earlier. It’s chess, not checkers here.

Russ had better improve with the quickness or he will find himself on the bench in crunch time. The Lakers are known to cut minutes of players that break the unwritten rules that Russ did.
