The Los Angeles Lakers quit in parts of this game!

They let go of the rope. LeBron James did the same thing his first season in L.A. He is basically waiting for the front office to make a move that is not coming unless they decide to come up off that 2027 first round pick which Lake Show Life believes they won’t.

He’s the leader of this team and he flat out quit and AD followed him out the door. The team eventually gave up. Need an example? LeBron James missed a layup. He stayed back to cry to the referees. On the other end?

LeBron James stuck around just long enough to keep his scoring streak of 25 points or more intact. It’s not hard to tell and his leadership should be called into question here. When the Lakers were on a 23-9 run to make things interesting with five minutes left in the game, LeBron did not make an impact when put back into the fray.

The story from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

It’s time to start the discussion if this is a playoff team or not!

The staff and readers of Lake Show Life knew that this team would not make the NBA Finals in the preseason. Now this writer believes that this is no longer a playoff team. Get used to the fact because this same writer made the same prediction before the All-Star break in LeBron’s first year.

  • The Los Angeles Lakers does not have championship pedigree.
  • They do not have championship leadership on the roster and they do not have a championship coach.
  • They have no identity and no plan.
  • They have highlights for sports shows with false narratives to keep Lakers fans satisfied.

That is perfect for LeBron James to avoid accountability in this disaster of a season. Sure they’ll beat Portland and then Golden State will beat them down again on Saturday night.

What do you want Lakers fans? Highlights or a real chance for success this season?

Anthony Davis got his numbers when the game was over. So did LeBron. Good teams will live with this all game long. The others outside of Malik Monk, who had 20 points was non existent.

Russell Westbrook’s season is over folks. You heard it here first.

Question for Los Angeles Lakers fans…

Who is the official team leader in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals? Nope…not LeBron James.

Russell Westbrook. Don’t believe us? Click here! ESPN don’t lie!

Yes with all of the injuries to the stars, he has played enough games to qualify. Sad thing is, the Los Angeles Lakers fanbase has destroyed his confidence and Frank Vogel with yet ANOTHER benching late for the young guys has covered his grave with dirt. Congratulations. It’s not like Lake Show Life didn’t see it coming. It was one month FROM THIS DAY, January 8th against Atlanta.

This play right here was when we knew it was the end!

The crowd went insane and the dynamics in the rotations would change forever despite Frank Vogel fighting it! At this point, the staff knew Russ’ attitude would change and the comment section was full of comments like…

"I hate when people like you over react to small things. Him playing like this helps THT get the ball more which in turn helps him play better and the rest of the bench follows. Stop acting like this is a surprise or a bad thing and I doubt that Russ cares considering the team is winning."

Or…

"People writing this article doesn’t know basketball or make dumb articles with dumb headlines. Westbrook clearly impacts the game with his presence on the floor."

Or…

"You’re such a joke, especially in the article about Westbrook’s “attitude”. Attacking the basket, allowing Bradley to be open for a 3 or cut to the basket, passing to Tht when he got hot, same to Monk and Melo. You’re reaching so hard to fit your lil narrative. Just cause you “cover” games don’t mean you know ball."

Russ stans are on a milk carton these days avoiding the comment section because he is getting worse with each passing game. He doesn’t fit with a team with no offensive schemes other than roll the ball to LeBron and let him read the defense. He is now a jump shooter that tries to fit in. The Rockets tried it and it did not work. They traded Clint Capela and went super small just to make the Westbrook experiment work. The Lakers are not doing this.

Oh by the way, Russ had 10 points on 3-11 shooting and 10 rebounds. Five assists away from a triple double.

The season maybe over folks. We hope we are wrong because playoff coverage is fun, but we doubt it.
