The story from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

Man that Klay Thompson dude can shoot!

Anybody that has a clue about the game of basketball knew that Klay Thompson was going to explode at some point. Sadly for Lakers Nation, it happened right after Austin Reaves blocked his layup. Certain players get really focused when angry and Klay just unloaded one of his infamous 3 point barrages. it wasn’t bad defense, it’s just the house was on fire and you just had to get the kids, wife, dog, cat and Fido the fish out!

Klay put on a show scoring 33 points and bailed the Warriors out!

The Golden State Warriors hustled the Los Angeles Lakers out of yet another game!

So many times, you hear NBA announcers and experts talk about LeBron James’ basketball I.Q. and how he is steps above everyone else. If that is the case, how can a writer that writes for LakeShowLife.com 3000 miles away figure out how the Golden State Warriors constantly uses LeBron James to eliminate Anthony Davis?

It’s NBA’s version of three-card monte and the Lakers fall for it every time! EVERY TIME!

  1. The Los Angeles Lakers cannot lose when AD is aggressive early and dominates the boards. Kevon Looney can’t guard Davis in the paint one on one!
  2. So the Warriors put a young player or a guard on LeBron James so he will feel disrespected and take them off the dribble to get points early.
  3. The Warriors know that LeBron will wear down as the game goes on and if AD IS NOT AGGRESSIVE, he won’t go into the paint and start shooting jumpers!

Then they will find a player to match LeBron in points (Klay Thompson finishes with 33 to LeBron’s 26!) and then others will handle the rest. Players like…

  • Jonathan Kuminga: 18 points (8-11 shooting!), 9 rebounds.
  • Andrew Wiggins: 19 points (8-17 shooting!), 5 rebounds.
  • Oh, Stephen Curry had 24 points with 5 rebounds and 8 assists.

Now LeBron got his precious 25+ point streak and Kareem’s scoring record. But Anthony Davis disappears finishing with 16 points on 5-13 shooting. No plays run for him and after a game where he did not take a shot in the fourth quarter, he was a non factor in this one.

Guess what, the Warriors set it up that way.
