The bad from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

Dwight Howard was bad…real bad…like Ivica Zubac DOMINATING him bad!

Okay, the Lake Show Life staff was all over Frank Vogel this entire season for not starting Dwight Howard in the middle. Granted, Vogel’s rotations have looked worse when Howard was playing well like the last matchup. But Dwight played like he was mad that DeAndre Jordan got picked up by the 76ers.

He even played like DeAndre Jordan in this game!

Zubac started the game shooting 4-5 from the field with 8 points, while grabbing 3 rebounds and blocking a shot. Then when he sat down, Isaiah Hartenstein came off the bench and kept it rolling knocking down his first four shots without a miss.

Center comparisons:

  • Ivica Zubac: 19 points (8-11 shooting!), 9 rebounds (5 offensive!), 3 assists and 2 blocks!
  • Isaiah Hartenstein: 12 points (6-7 shooting!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

Dwight Howard on the other hand took over Lance Stephenson’s Aerobic exercise video franchise!

Let’s talk about this third quarter thing, shall we?

The Lakers went into halftime on a 14-0 run. The third quarter started and the Clippers had a third-quarter run spanning 12 minutes. The Clippers bombed the Los Angeles Lakers 40-18. Marcus Morris Sr. had 14 points in the quarter. The third quarter started at 66-63. It ended at…106-81.

We could talk about the defense, Vogel’s rotations, or lack of effort but…

The staff is tired of saying the same thing over and over again. If the Los Angeles Lakers franchise from Jeanie Buss down to the bus driver doesn’t care, why should we?

DeAndre Jordan is probably joking this bunch like Dave Chappelle in that Prince skit in the Philly locker room right now!
