The bad from the Los Angeles Lakers’ win:

Welcome to another episode of “Opposing players that give the Los Angeles Lakers the business, that no one has ever heard of!”

Oh, how this small ball lineup that Frank Vogel continues to roll out allows opposing players that no one has ever heard of exploding for season or career highs.

Jakob Poeltl:

In San Antonio, it was Spurs center Jakob Poeltl that brutalized the small lineup over and overscoring through Stanley Johnson, Carmelo Anthony for easy baskets. He did most of his 18 point, 8 rebound and 4 assist damage in the final 6 minutes.

Alperen Sengun:

When opposing team announcers state the Lakers couldn’t stop someone multiple times during broadcasts, you know things are bad. Sengun is only a rookie and destroyed the Lakers front line for Sengun finished with 21 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists with 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Why are we bringing up old stuff?

Corey Kispert had 21 points of the strength of five 3 pointers. This is now a trend, folks. The perimeter defense of the Lakers is just bad. They are not rotating on defense, just watching the ball in the hands of the opposing team’s best player.

Try it against Phoenix on Sunday.

Russell Westbrook:

2-11 shooting for 5 points matching Wenyen Gabriel. How can he collapse from a 30 point game in Houston? Just click and read this…

It’s been a long season folks.
