2. The Lakers still have moves left to be made

The good news for the Lakers is when things are going as poorly as they are right now they can only improve at this point. You have already lost to both of the worst teams in the West this season in shocking fashion there is nowhere to go but up.

Whether it is a coaching change or benching Westbrook the Lakers can make a myriad of moves down the stretch to attempt to shake things up. While firing a coach that won a championship less than two years ago is a rough move it might the one that shakes this team awake.

Putting Westbrook on the bench or putting Dwight Howard into the lineup more so, regardless of what they decide to do this team needs to make a change and hope it yields results.

The best option is likely firing their head coach and attempting to put a new lineup around LeBron hoping he can switch back to Cleveland mode and elevate a bad team. Once back Anthony Davis is certainly better than Kevin Love and it is worth remembering that LeBron dragged that team to the finals. If they can find a lineup willing to play defense on every possession and make most of their open looks that can happen again if the Lakers can make their way through the play-in.
