The story from the Los Angeles Lakers’ win:

LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to victory against all odds!

There had been heated debates around the comment section on LeBron’s play and lack of leadership. Outside of the 50 point games, LeBron looked listless and his numbers were hollow nonfactor stats. In this game, he played both ends of the floor and inspired his teammates.

LeBron played 45 minutes with a stat line of 36 points (15-26 shooting!), 9 rebounds and 7 assists. He added two blocks and did not have any lazy turnovers. The man looked focused and his teammates followed his lead.

Russell Westbrook…again!

Russell Westbrook hit his 9th career 3-pt FG inside the final 5 seconds of the 4th quarter and OT which matches Kobe Bryant for the 2nd-most over the last 25 seasons. The only other player with more during that span is Vince Carter with 12.

To all of those social media gangsters hiding behind computer screens dogging Russ, are you willing to take a last-second shot two nights after this?

Are there adjustments that he could do to improve? Sure. Can he shoot? No. But this dude shows up and plays hard every game despite the dysfunction surrounding this franchise. Hopefully, he gets on a hot streak like he has in the last two seasons for Washington and Houston.

Speaking of Washington, the Lakers take on the Wizards Saturday night.

Finally…the Los Angeles Lakers showed how well they can play when they…TRY!

It was really irritating reading comments defending LeBron James when he doesn’t try on defense and the rest of his team doesn’t try at all.
