Oklahoma City Thunder: Kenrich Williams

Kenrich Williams seemed like a dream trade target during the NBA trade deadline for the Lakers and his play since the deadline has been less than impressive. OKC may be kicking themselves for not trading Williams when his value was at an all-time high.

However, that does not mean that the Lakers would not benefit from adding Williams to the rotation. While he has struggled from three in recent weeks, he is still someone who has showcased an ability to knock down shots as a stretch forward.

Williams is a solid defensive player as well. While he is a bit undersized for a power forward, his hustle and ability on the defensive end do make him someone who can play some backup four if needed. Either way, he adds a positive presence on both ends of the court.

There was a proposed trade package that sees the Lakers trade Talen Horton-Tucker and a second-round pick for Williams, Mike Muscala and a second-round pick. Most Laker fans would probably reject this deal right away but that would be fair value for Williams as that is there THT’s value as an asset has fallen.
