The bad from the Los Angeles Lakers’ win:

Man, it sure would have been nice if the Los Angeles Lakers had drafted Darius Garland.

There was no real chance of landing Garland because the Lakers had to trade their lottery pick that could have landed him to New Orleans for Anthony Davis. But yes, Lake Show Life had their eyes on him then and was very impressed as what laid out here a couple of years ago.

With Darius’ shiftiness and change of pace, our analysis compared him to former Laker, Nick Van Exel.

The Cleveland All-Star really shined in this game with his scoring and playmaking finishing with 29 points and 16 assists. This is not about bad Lakers’ defense, this was all about a budding superstar in the future. The Lakers will need a point guard down the line and it’s a shame it’s not him.

Malik Monk might have broken an unwritten rule and it may get him in the doghouse.

Hopefully, this observation is DEAD WRONG because Malik Monk is one of this writer’s favorite players to watch (Carmelo Anthony being the other!), but he needs to brush up on those interview skills because one wrong comment to the right sports network (ESPN) can get you in trouble in the locker room and the front office.

Monk’s interview with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin gave his insight on the dynamic of the locker room and how it has allowed him to bond with Austin Reaves.

"“Older guys yelling at the rookies because it’s their fault. Everything they do, it’s your fault out there because they know everything and you don’t and when you mess up, you just got to take it. You got to deal with things like that. I talk to Austin almost every day.”"

Sure, this seems like a small thing (This just in, it is!!), but media outlets (Lake Show Life included!) are looking for anything to make a story that will align with the reason why the Los Angeles Lakers are struggling. But recent history tells us that the smallest comment that gets misconstrued can get a player not named LeBron in trouble with minutes.

Malik did not start.

But he did contribute with Augustin off the bench with timely scoring finishing with 12 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and a block.

It’s media training time for Malik in the meantime. Context is everything in a Lakers uniform Malik, be careful.

Avery Bradley…

Two fouls on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Other than that, it was aerobics because he did nothing else but participate in the Lance Stephenson workout program.
