3. Quin Snyder

This really does feel like Quin Snyder’s job to lose at this point. While he is still employed by the Utah Jazz, after falling short in the playoffs once again it is clear that Utah is probably going to go in a different direction.

Not just a different direction with Snyder, though. The team is currently over the luxury tax in a small market with a roster that obviously is not good enough to make it to the NBA Finals. If there was ever a reason to blow it up and start over, the Jazz have it.

That is going to put Snyder on the market before his name stars depreciating in value with more and more playoff losses. When you really look at his playoff resume it is quite striking. The Jazz have often come up short (like Rivers) and Snyder has a losing record in the playoffs despite so much playoff success.

Not only is Snyder’s name still a big one that is seemingly valuable, but he also has connections to the Los Angeles Lakers as well. Snyder served as an assistant coach for the Lakers for one season. We know Jeanie Buss loves to hire people with connections to LA.

dark. Next. Westbrook and the 10 worst trades in franchise history

We know who Snyder is as a head coach and he really would not be any different from Frank Vogel, which raises the question of why the Lakers would fire Vogel anyway.
