2. Khris Middleton

As of now, I don’t believe that Khris Middleton is going to leave a great situation with the Bucks next offseason. However, if there is one player who can convince Middleton to leave a great situation it is LeBron James.

Khris can come to Los Angeles and play a role under far less pressure as the third option and focus on spacing the floor for the Lakers. He has already won a title with the Bucks why not come and play a huge role in a title role for the Lakers?

The one downside to this move is the fact that Khris is taking a step back going from the clear second scorer to the third option behind LeBron and Anthony Davis.

Middleton helps solve two issues for the Lakers he gives the team much-needed shooting and a good wing defender. At this point in his career LeBron needs to be surrounded by defensive players who can let LeBron sit back and focus on running the offense.

Come playoff time James still can play defense but at this stage of his career, it isn’t sustainable to play defense all season. Middleton helps cover this while supplying shooting. He should be the Lakers’ second offseason target behind Kyrie Irving.
