Anthony Davis is the Los Angeles Lakers’ Dak Prescott

Of any quarterback in the NFL, Anthony Davis relates to Dak Prescott the most. Both Davis and Prescott have conversations around their name and where they rank in their respective leagues that are very similar.

Are they a top 10 player? Can they be considered elite? Why can’t they win without help? All of those questions can be asked either about Davis or Prescott and the similarities between the two really are uncanny.

Any Cowboys fan will tell you that Dak is a top-10 quarterback in the league and that he is capable of winning an MVP award. Before Anthony Davis got hurt over these past two seasons we were having the exact same conversations about Davis.

The injury dynamic is similar as well. Dak missed 11 games in the 2020 season and just recently had surgery on his thumb and will miss time this season. Davis is one of the most injury-prone stars in the sport. And just like Dak, the Lakers are not the same without him.

Both fanbases are very protective of these two stars, but both would also be more than open to a change if there was a true upgrade to be had. If Giannis wanted to be a Laker then fans would show Davis the door as quickly as possible. The same would happen if Josh Allen suddenly wanted to be a Cowboy.
