Los Angeles Lakers bold prediction #3: The Lakers finish top four in the West

As things stand right now, it seems that there is no chance the Lakers could finish as a higher seed than four of Golden State, The Clippers, Denver, Memphis, Dallas, Phoenix, and Minnesota.

These are bold predictions, though.

If the Lakers are able to make moves to surround Davis and James with more shooting, and Darvin Ham is able to get the most out of guys like Lonnie Walker IV, Troy Brown and Kendrick Nunn, Los Angeles can truly go as far as the Klutch superstar duo will take them.

Anthony Davis has stated that his goal is to play 82 games this year. While that is likely unrealistic, the Lakers are a completely different team if he is able to play at least 65. Meanwhile, LeBron has shown absolutely no signs of slowing down for year 20.

In 2022-2023, the Lakers will find their way back into the top four seeds of the Western Conference. A lot will have to go right in LA for this to happen, but Darvin Ham and company will be up to the task.

A team that has Anthony Davis and LeBron James on its roster can never be counted out. This season, a lot of people will be proven foolish for doing so.
