2. Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks are not a team that you would expect to be struggling from beyond the arc this season. Atlanta ranked second in the league in three-point percentage last season and only improved this offseason with the addition of Dejounte Murray.
Murray is by no means a shooter, but adding him alongside Trae Young would seemingly open things up for the team to continue shooting the ball well.
That has not been the case this season as the Hawks are shooting only 32.5% from beyond the arc this season. A big reason why the team is struggling is because of Young, who is shooting only 30.3% from beyond the arc this season.
Adding Ryan obviously does not fix the woes with Young but it would give a team that is rather thin right now because of injuries another shooting option. Ryan is not going to replace what Bojan Bogdanovic gave to the team before he was hurt but it could at least help the team get by for the time being.
AJ Griffin is the only player on the entire team to shoot higher than 36% from three this season with at least 30 attempts. Ryan would be the second player on the roster to shoot that well from beyond the arc with that many attempts.
Atlanta’s roster is also currently at 14 players, so they would not need to open up a roster spot for him.
