The Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns square off on Wednesday night on ESPN, and there are major playoff implications on the line for Los Angeles.

This is expected to be a close game, but there are few ways to bet in the prop market that could follow the script of a Lakers win.

Here are my three favorite plays on Wednesday:

Suns vs. Lakers best NBA prop bets

  • Austin Reaves OVER 14.5 Points
  • Bismack Biyombo UNDER 6.5 Rebounds
  • Anthony Davis OVER 25.5 Points

Austin Reaves OVER 14.5 Points

Has there been a Laker hotter than Austin Reaves?

Reaves has scored 15+ points in six of his last eight games including a season-high 36 points in the team’s win over Orlando.

With LeBron James still out, the Lakers have found a reliable secondary option scoring the ball in Reaves, who is putting up 17.7 points per game since James’ injury. I’ll ride the hot hand again tonight.

Bismack Biyombo UNDER 6.5 Rebounds

With Deandre Ayton out, Bismack Boyombo saw 20 minutes in the Suns’ last game, grabbing six boards. Yet, his rebounds prop is juiced to the OVER even though he’s cleared this just once in his last 10 games.

I get the increased role could help, but Biyombo is going to be way undersized against Anthony Davis in the frontcourt. If you’re looking for a way to back Biyombo, I prefer his blocks prop more than his OVER rebounds.

Anthony Davis OVER 25.5 Points

Davis has cleared this line in seven of his last 10 games, and I think he’s due for a bounce-back game after scoring just 15 points in a win over the Orlando Magic.

This is a favorable matchup for Davis with Ayton out, as Jock Landale isn’t nearly as good as a defender as the smaller Bismack Biyombo. Both are going to have trouble handling Davis, who is averaging 25.8 points per game this season.
