4. JaMychal Green
From one Green to another. JaMychal Green did not play a big role on the Golden State Warriors during the regular season but was actually asked to start several games for the team in this series in place of Kevon Looney.
Green still hasn’t gotten much playing time despite getting the starts but he has at least been able to gain some exposure in doing so. As crazy as it sounds, those things matter and can make more teams interested in bringing in the veteran wing.
That being said, Green is still only worth a veteran minimum contract, so it is not like he is earning a bigger payday. For that reason, though, he actually has the best chances of staying on the Warriors of anyone on this list.
JaMychal Green can fill out the Warriors’ roster
Golden State still needs to field a full roster regardless of how much trouble the team is in with the salary cap. For that reason, we are going to see the team bring in a lot of minimum players that can fill rotation spots without breaking the bank.
Green is someone who the Warriors are already familiar with, which might give him an edge up on other options. That being said, Green may also want to join a different team with a better chance of contending.
There certainly will be other suitors with better odds of winning a title that could be interested in what Green brings as a rotation piece.
