The Los Angeles Lakers are a perfect 6-0 at home in the postseason, and they’re looking to close out the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 on Friday night.

One way to wager on this matchup is by taking prop bets, so I have three Lakers-centric bets that I like for this game. Let’s break them down:

Warriors vs. Lakers best NBA prop bets

  • LeBron James UNDER 41.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
  • Austin Reaves OVER 22.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
  • Lakers Team Total UNDER 112.5 Points

LeBron James UNDER 41.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

It may not be fun to fade LeBron James, but it’s the right move on this prop given his playoff numbers.

The four-time champion has fallen short of 42 points, rebounds and assists in eight of his 11 playoff games, and he’s averaging 22.8 points, 10.1 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game (37.9 PRA).

The Lakers have been getting scoring contributions up and down the roster, so I doubt James feels the need to score 35+ to will this team to a win. I’ll take the UNDER with this number rising after he missed it in Game 5.

Austin Reaves OVER 22.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

Austin Reaves had a few down scoring games at the beginning of this series, but he’s cleared 22.5 points, rebounds and assists in back-to-back contests.

In his 11 playoff games, Reaves has cleared this number six times while averaging 14.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. He’s going to get plenty of chances to score (11.9 shots per game in the postseason), and he may need to with Anthony Davis banged up.

We may be getting some value on this prop after the struggles from Reaves, but I think he’s turned things around after his last two showings.

Lakers Team Total UNDER 112.5 Points

This may seem like a bet against the Lakers, but it’s more a bet on their defense keeping this a low-scoring game.

Los Angeles has scored fewer than 112.5 points in six of its 11 playoff games, and it’s most recent home game against Golden State it won 104-101.

Unless the Warriors really don’t have it going, a low-scoring game is going to benefit the Lakers more than a high-scoring one, especially since they were one of the top defenses in the NBA following the trade deadline.

I’ll take the UNDER on this prop and expect a game in the low 100s.
