Lakers schedule predictions, March:
March 2 vs Denver Nuggets: LOSS
Sweeping the Nuggets is probably a bit too much to ask for. Denver gets its revenge in the last matchup between these two teams.
March 4 vs Oklahoma City Thunder: WIN
The Lakers won’t be surprised by the Thunder anymore and are entering the most important stretch of the year. They win this game as a result.
March 6 vs Sacramento Kings: WIN
Sacramento’s defense simply can’t keep up with what the Lakers can do offensively. The Lakers get the win at home.
March 8 vs Milwaukee Bucks: WIN
LeBron James always seems to rise to the occasion against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anthony Davis is arguably the best defensive player to have against him. The Lakers win a huge game at home.
March 10 vs Minnesota Timberwolves: WIN
The Lakers get the best of the T-Wolves to win their fourth game in a row.
March 13 at Sacramento Kings: WIN
The three-day break could not have come at a better time for the Lakers, who will be fresher for the athletic Kings team. Once again, Sacramento’s defense won’t be enough to contain the Lakers.
March 16 vs Golden State Warriors: WIN
Another three days off is huge for the Lakers, who are really starting to find their stride with a big win over the Warriors to extend the streak to six.
March 18 vs Atlanta Hawks: WIN
Another game in California, another win for the Lake Show. This win over Trae Young and the Hawks extends the streak to seven.
March 22 vs Philadelphia 76ers: WIN
At this point, James Harden will either be completely checked out or he will be traded for parts. Philly should give LA a tough game but will fall short.
March 24 vs Indiana Pacers: WIN
This is the last game of a long streak without much travel and the Lakers take advantage to win their ninth in a row.
March 26 at Milwaukee Bucks: LOSS
Beating Giannis twice in one month is really hard, especially with the second game on the road. The Bucks end the Lakers’ streak at nine.
March 27 at Memphis Grizzlies: LOSS
After a long winning streak, the Lakers earned a scheduled night off and that is exactly what this is. LeBron and AD rest and the Lakers fall short.
March 29 at Indiana Pacers: WIN
LeBron and AD had two days off and they carry a Lakers team that is a bit tired to a close win over a young Pacers squad.
March 31 at Brooklyn Nets: LOSS
Brooklyn becomes the most surprising team to sweep the Lakers, winning its second game against LA.
Record after March: 51-24
