3. Austin Reaves
The player that quickly grew from an undrafted rookie into one of the Lakers' most reliable scoring options, Austin Reaves has certainly made a name for himself in three short seasons with the Lakers. He is one of LA's biggest developmental wins in years, and was a crucial part of the team's run to the Western Conference Finals a year ago.
Always playing at his own pace and very difficult to speed up or slow down, Reaves has grown into a very effective three-level scorer. Add onto that his ability to draw contact and get to the line consistently, and he has likely come close to maximizing his talent.
Reaves may be the least likely to be traded among these players listed, but the idea here is that if the Lakers did want to trade for say a Devin Booker or another top-of-the-line star, it would obviously take a huge offer. As a result, LA would have to put all their chips on the table to even be taken seriously.
For a player of that caliber, the Lakers would likely have to offer all of Reaves, Rui, Hood-Schifino as well as picks to make a rival team even think about doing the deal.
