3. Cam Reddish, Player Option

Believe it or not, Los Angeles Lakers swingman Cam Reddish is still just 24 years of age. The former top-10 draft pick has played for four teams across five seasons, which often causes viewers to lose sight of how much more time there is for him to realize his potential.

While his offensive inconsistency was disappointing in 2023-24, Reddish's defensive improvement suggests that he may be closer than his offensive inconsistency would suggest.

Reddish struggled to find his offensive form in 2023-24, shooting just 38.9 percent from the field and 33.6 percent from beyond the arc. From an eFG% perspective, it was his worst shooting season since 2020-21, his second year in the NBA.

One reason to believe that Reddish's offensive issues were a flash in the pan: His 75.9 percent shooting at the free throw line marked his first season below 80.2 percent.

It's also worth noting that Reddish showed signs of significant improvement on the defensive end of the floor. He was aggressive in creating turnovers and registered the best Defensive Box Plus-Minus and Defensive Win Shares of his NBA career.

With a player option worth $2,463,946 and a tough offensive season behind him, it's likely that Reddish will return to the Lakers in the pursuit of a redemption season on offense.
