The Media Loves Lamar and Khloe

I’ve tried to avoid posting about it. The season is about to start and we have far more important things to think about. The big headlines should be about Blake Griffin’s injury or Pau Gasol possibly sitting out the season opener. Maybe talk about the Cavaliers/Celtics matchup. Talk about something other than Lamar’s personal life.
And yet here we are- two days before the Lakers season opener and it seems like every news outlet in the country is making sure everyone knows the huge news: Lamar Odom and his new almost-kinda-wife Khloe Kardashian got tattoos of each others initials. The funny part to me? Lamar has “KO” on his hand even though they aren’t officially married yet and her name hasn’t legally been changed (according to wild speculation and personal assumption). Minor setback, of course.
I’d like to make a request to everyone who is a fan of Lakers basketball: Let’s focus on basketball and leave Lamar’s personal life out of this for awhile. How about it?
