Byron Scott in his Laker Days

Sure I’m suggesting the future with the Lakers as complete speculation, but come on- wouldn’t that just warm your heart?

(Via latimes.com) Byron Scott, 2008 NBA coach of the year, was fired and replaced by Hornets GM Jeff Bower.

The Hornets are 3-6 to start the season with a team that was largely dismantled and rebuilt in the past year.

We at the Lake Show can only hope that Mitch Kupchak decides to fill in the vacancy left by Kurt Rambis when he departed for Minnesota at the start of the season.
