Lakers Draw Nuggets In Round One

The dust has finally settled and the playoff picture is clear. Our beloved Los Angeles Lakers will begin their title quest by taking on the Denver Nuggets in a best of seven starting Sunday.

Get you popcorn ready!

During the season the Lake Show took thee of their four meetings with Denver. These two have long been Western Conference rivals with their last playoff meeting coming in 2009. That was a tough six game battle that saw the Lakers come out on top en route to their championship parade through Orlando.

This time around we could see another six game series. Despite L.A.’s dominance during the regular season the Nuggets gave the Lake Show about all they could handle. Then there’s the problematic position of small forward that could haunt the Lakers in round one.

Already minus Metta World Peace, Matt Barnes is dealing with an injured ankle while Devin Ebanks is playing through the pain of a weight room accident. That doesn’t bode well for some of the matchups the Lakers will have to deal with namely how they’ll handle Danilo Gallinari.

But that is all analysis you’ll get plenty of right here on LSL. We’ll get you all prepped for the upcoming series. For now here’s the schedule.
