Sore Foot Prevents Kobe Bryant From Practicing

Taking a page out of Del Tha Funkee Homosapien’s book there is No Need For Alarm regarding the foot problems that prevented Kobe Bryant from practicing Friday. Officially KB24 is listed as day-to-day with a sore right foot.

If anything the decision to let Bryant sit out both sessions yesterday is nothing more than a precautionary measure. With the Lake Show slated to depart for Fresno tonight for the game against Golden State tomorrow it only makes sense not to force the issue. It’s far too early for that.

In fact, if the Lakers decided to sit Kobe for the preseason premier that too would make sense. As stated by Phil Jackson, this team is a veteran group that is going to have to pace itself in order to accomplish the lofty goals that are expected.

We’ll know more about Kobe’s condition once the Lakers take to the court in El Segundo for the final tune up before the curtain goes up on the preseason.
