Pau Gasol Out Against Rockets

Make of this whatever you will. Amid rumors of the Lakers looking to once again trade Pau Gasol comes word that the Spaniard will be out of action against the Houston Rockets tonight. Gasol is said to be struggling with knee issues that are hampering his transition to the Mike D’Antoni system.
That’s understandable considering how much more running Gasol is doing now more than ever in his pro career.
Of course the conspiracy theorists out there can’t help but wonder if this is part of a potential trade in the works. Apparently Mitch Kupchak has already discussed the possibility of a trade with Gasol’s representation.
Taking Pau’s place in the lineup will be Antawn Jamison which makes total sense being that he’s already stolen Gasol’s minutes in the 4th quarter anyway.
