Young is an LA native and played in Philadelphia last season. He’ll likely see time at the small forward and shooting guard roles next year, depending on Kobe Bryant’s recovery.
Young is know for his shooting and not much else. In 59 games mostly off the bench last season, Young averaged 10.6 points on 41.3% field goal shooting. He does have three point range, but not necessarily three point accuracy as he shot just 35.7% in 210 attempts last season.
If the Lakers are going to tank this year, at least it’ll be fun to watch.
