Chris Kaman was just recently signed by the Los Angeles Lakers, and he is already saying the right things. Here’s what the big guy had to say:
"“I think it was a battle until the end. Obviously, nobody anticipated Kobe getting hurt, and they were still able to finish up strong and make the playoffs.”“Its a tough position when your best player, the best player in the world, goes down like that. I think they would have had a better chance if they had their best player.”“Especially when he never gets hurt and plays through everything. Its one of those things you cant play through, if he would, he could.”"
Kaman asked if he's talked to any of the Lakers since signing: "No. I've been out in the woods the last month and a half"

Chris Kaman on possibly coming off the bench back up Pau vs. starting alongside him: "It doesn't matter to me"

Kaman said he likes D'Antoni's style w/ it having a fast pace & running pick & roll

Chris Kaman sounds excited about the opportunity and is willing to do whatever it takes to win, which is refreshing to hear after all of the Dwight Howard drama. Maybe the team chemistry will allow the Lakers to make the playoffs, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
