LAKERS NEWS

The Lakers have begun assembling their coaching staff, first with promoting the newly hired Mark Madsen from D-League coach to a player-development coach. They also added Larry Lewis as a player development coach. They’re expected to bring on former Laker player and coach Kurt Rambis to the staff soon, also.

The Lakers have also invited Shawne Williams to training camp. Williams is a bit of a stretch four, which could make him a solid fit for the Lakers.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

The Cleveland Cavaliers officially introduced Andrew Bynum with a two-year, $24.5 million deal. Bynum reportedly currently weighs upwards of 300 pounds. Considering he has two bad knees, that’s not a good sign right?

DID YOU KNOW??

Steve Nash is the leader for most 50-40-90 seasons, completing four of ten in history. Better yet, he’s missed out on two others, once by 0.1% in free throw shooting and once by 0.3% in field goal shooting.
