Kobe says he's "shattered" rehab timetable

Kobe Bryant’s rumored rehabilitation from his Achilles has been far ahead of schedule. On Monday, it was revealed a little bit more how far ahead from the man himself.

In his second stop of his China tour, Bryant spoke about his Achilles to reporters, saying the surgery they did was “innovative” and they didn’t know how he’d respond.

The normal timetable for recovering for an Achilles, we’ve shattered that. Three and a half months, I can already walk just fine. I’m lifting weights for the Achilles just fine.

Bryant said that no one is sure of the timetable for a return at this point. What is certain, however, is that Bryant is way ahead of schedule for any normal athlete, which isn’t surprising considering the Black Mamba’s work ethic.

Can I just say “told ja so!” Kobe Bryant aka “The Black Mamba” will be just fine & will get back to form. This is just a achilles injury which I know is important when it comes to basketball, not bleeding of the brain. In God all things are possible & when you’re something special like Kobe, it’s nothing but a hurtle as well as a blessing to have reason to put another stamp on his career when its all over! Hate that doubters/haters!
