5. Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns were definitely in tank mode last season, and it appears that this year will be no different. The Suns had somewhat of a busy off-season. They named Jeff Hornacek their head coach, hired a new GM in Ryan McDonough, traded
Luis Scola for Gerald Green, Miles Plumlee, and a first round pick, traded Jared Dudley and a second round pick for Caron Butler and Eric Bledsoe, and they drafted Alex Len and Archie Goodwin.
All of these moves were to help try and make the rebuilding effort better, and the Suns achieved their goal. The Suns added youth in Bledsoe, Plumlee, and a first round pick, while also drafting two players in the first round. Next up for the Phoenix Suns is to tank this season to have a better shot at landing the coveted Andrew Wiggins in the upcoming draft.
