After one long summer, the Lakers tip-off their season tonight. A wholesale roster turnover has the Lakers rolling out a deeper, younger, and more athletic team than last year’s version. However, it’s also a squad that was left with a giant hole when the giant ego of Dwight Howard spurned LA for the Rockets. By most accounts, the Lakers are a more harmonious squad. However, harmony doesn’t win you championships.

 

A squad with zero expectations is a dangerous one. But one lacking talent isn’t quite as deadly. Where will the Lakers finish this year in the Western Conference? Are they a playoff team? Are they a lottery team? Which new Laker will have the biggest impact? Will any of the Lakers be dealt mid-season? We took a look at all these questions and gave our take…
