The saying goes “When it rains, it pours.” For the Lakers, it’s become a monsoon. With an already depleted roster, Nick Young has joined the ranks of injured Lakers, sitting out the final frame of the team’s game in Dallas with an apparent back injury.

Young had a 20-game streak of double figure scoring coming in, but was limited to just 19 minutes of action due to the injury. While neither the Lakers nor Young know the extent of the injury, both are unsure of his availability for tomorrow’s game in Houston.

With the Lakers only playing eight men on the night, another injury, especially to a perimeter player, could be a serious blow to a season quickly sliding out of control for the Lakers.
