After an extended rehab session in the Developmental League, Xavier Henry is set to return to the Lakers Monday night in their game at Portland.

Henry has been out of the Lakers lineup since late December when an awkward landing injured his knee. After a couple setbacks, Henry returned to the court last week in a rehab assignment with the Los Angeles D-Fenders. Henry scored 15 and 19 points in the two games in 23 and 26 minutes of play, respectively. It was enough to show the Lakers he was ready to return to the squad as he’ll likely be available for tonight’s match-up.

For the first time in many, many months, the Lakers appear to finally be getting healthy. Henry’s return comes a few weeks after Jordan Farmar’s return to the lineup. Nick Young is likely to be the next in line to return for the Lakers, but that date is not set and is likely to be in the distant future.

The Lakers and Trail Blazers tip off tonight at 7:00 PM Pacific, 10:00 PM Eastern tonight.
