2014 Draft: Watch Out for These Players

The draft is a complex mechanism. It’s a crap shoot. Every team has their own rank of who the best player available is. Sometimes they emphasize player fit, more so than talent. Sometimes they draft for position. Sometimes they draft for sheer talent.
There are players out there that are overrated. Guys like Hasheem Thabeet were drafted as high as #2. Kwame Brown was drafted #1. Michael Olowakandi was a project center, and drafted over Vince Carter.
Every draft has these players. What is shocking, is when there are late-1st round players or 2nd round players that contribute more to the team than the lottery picks. What a waste of a pick.
Included in this draft list, is a series of names to watch for. This isn’t backed up by pure analytics, just the eye-test.
