MVP: Welcome back from your slump, Nick Young. Swaggy P busted out his rut and did all he could to keep LA in the game, including numerously being fouled on three-pointers leading to a 13-13 free throw line performance.

LVP: Jeremy Lin. He had the opportunity to make a big statement that he belonged in the starting line-up and answered critics with a 3 for 10 night from the field and two assists to three turnovers. One of his makes came in garbage time to, meaning he was virtually invisible tonight.

Stat of the Night: 31 to 7. That’s the number of threes attempted by the Jazz and Lakers, respectively. While it may be a personnel problem with the Lakers, taking seven three-pointers and making just three isn’t going to cut it.
