Lakers News: Modern Family Star Nearly Kicked Out Of Staples

You hear it all the time. “I swear, we’re just like you guys!”

It’s a common reprise from celebrities to make us hate our lives just that much less. It never works, but in this case, Julie Bowen, one of the cast members from ABC’s “Modern Family” explains to Jimmy Kimmel how she very nearly got booted from a Lakers game for an honest mistake.

You know, the kind of honest mistake where she walks onto the court right in from of the opposing Golden State Warriors bench to get to her court-side seats.

I just hate it when that happens!

Bowen is absolutely adorable in her telling of the story, as per usual. If you can’t relate to her sitting courtside and having Staples Center security guards greet her by name, you’ll at least remember your first Lakers game.

She goes positively giddy remembering how close she was to the action.

“Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God I’m touching greatness… I can taste the sweat, I can taste the sweat…”
