D’Angelo Russell dished out a beautiful dime to Julius Randle for the Lakers against the Bucks

D’Angelo Russell was once again left coming off of the bench for the Los Angeles Lakers as they took on the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night. Jordan Clarkson was returning from injury, thus allowing Byron Scott to reinstitute his original rotation plan for the rookie.

While the Lakers played well even before Russell came into the game against Milwaukee, they found even more life and more energy when the 19-year-old got up off the pine. He seemed energized off his recent performance and showed it off with some impressive passing.

Early in the second quarter, the Bucks were trying to tip a ball forward to initiate a fast break, but Russell was able to interfere, maintain possession, and stay in bounds. He then turned back toward the basket and hit Julius Randle with just a gorgeous pass for the flush:

There are many things that Russell has done thus far in his rookie season to get Lakers fans excited, however, his passing consistently falls on that list. His vision and control in terms of facilitating far exceed that of most 19 year olds in the league. If he keeps being developed properly, it’s become increasingly apparent that the sky is the limit for D-Lo.
