The Lakers turned a blowout into a thriller Thursday night against the Sacramento Kings

For one night only, the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings revived their once proud rivalry to give fans a show they won’t soon forget.

From Kobe Bryant attempting to turn back the hands of time with 18 points in the first half to DeMarcus Cousins doing DeMarcus Cousins things, Thursday night in Sacramento was by far the most entertaining Lakers game this season.

Basketball is a game of runs and Thursday night was a clear demonstration of this fact. After giving up 69 points in the first half, losing the game by 21 points, the Lakers completely turned it around in the fourth quarter.

Starting by scoring 38 points in the third quarter, tied for the most points the Lakers have scored in a quarter this season, behind a lineup of D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Anthony Brown, Julius Randle and Brandon Bass, the Lakers stormed back in the fourth quarter allowing only six points in the first eight minutes.

This game taught Lakers fans many things about their team, and reaffirmed other sentiments. That said, here are three of the most prominent ideas fans learned after Thursday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
