It looks like Kobe Bryant’s work ethic has rubbed off on yet another Lakers’ youngster

With the way social media is set up today, you often hear cautionary tales of professional athletes who take their money and fame for granted only to be washed up a few years after being out of the league; Lakers’ faithful can find solace in the fact that Jordan Clarkson is not one of those players.

Just two weeks removed from the end of the season, Clarkson has already been seen putting in work in the gym, training for next season.

The third year guard out of the University of Missouri took to social media on both Snapchat and Instagram to let his followers know that vacation time is over.

Clarkson is currently a restricted free agent and will hit the market this summer but it looks as if the Lakers have no plans on letting him go anywhere but Los Angeles next season, regardless of what it ends up costing them.

Almost immediately after the end of the season, third year forward, Julius Randle, let it be known that he has plans to become “great” this offseason, and it seems that his gusto has rubbed off on fellow teammate Clarkson.

With Lakers’ news largely revolving around their ongoing head coaching search, there hasn’t been much word on the happenings of the third-head of the Cerberus, D’Angelo Russell, but that good be a good thing. This is to say, at least he hasn’t gotten himself involved in anymore scandals.

Historically, teams are able to negotiate with free agents starting July 1 and sign them after a short moratorium period, but that has reportedly been adjusted. Regardless, be sure to check back in for any updates on Clarkson and the kids.
