No Charges Filed Against Kobe Bryant For Church Incident

What could have been one of the more salacious stories surrounding Kobe Bryant (and that’s saying something) instead has become a footnote buried on the back pages.

The San Diego city attorney has announced that Bryant won’t face any charges in the wake of being accused of assaulting a man at a Carmel Valley church.

The incident in question occurred back in August when it was reported that Bryant accosted a man he believed was using his cell phone to take pictures of Kobe and his family. Thomas Hagos, the supposedly assaulted man, initially delayed his appointment to discuss the incident with San Diego PD but did go to a local hospital to receive treatment on a sprained wrist.

No matter the particulars the case isn’t moving forward due to a lack of evidence.

For Bryant this is nothing new. While this instance was reported strictly because of the nature of the incident there are a multitude of legal issues high profile people such as Kobe are always dealing with. At least this one came to a quiet conclusion.
