That’s right! Our wait is over…well, we’re still waiting on the debut of Dwight Howard. But let’s not split hairs on this one. Our Lakers debut tonight and it’s our first chance to see the new look Lake Show (minus DH) plus it will be the first ever broadcast on the new Time Warner channel (for those of us that actually have it).
As noted yesterday, Kobe Bryant will play while Howard sits as he continues to work his way back. Taking Howard’s place in the starting five will be either Robert Sacre or Greg Somogyi. Mike Brown opted to go with one of his rookie bigs instead of Jordan Hill as he wants to see Pau Gasol play alongside a true center.
But that is all temporary – hopefully. Tonight in Fresno we’ll see the unveiling of the Princeton offense as orchestrated by Steve Nash.
Can’t wait!
