We might as well get used to this…for the preseason at least. Dwight Howard has been ruled out of the Lakers’ second preseason swing tomorrow night in Ontario against the Portland Trailblazers. That makes it 0-for-2 in Howard’s attempt to return from back surgery before the start of the season.
But that’s not really news.
Not since most everyone had already assumed the Lake Show would be Howard-less for the entire preseason if not the start of the regular season. Still, there are nothing but positive reports coming out of camp regarding Howard’s progress.
Even if he is cleared to play it wouldn’t surprise me if Mike Brown and the Lakers staff shutdown DH until the games actually matter.
