No Metta World Peace In Brooklyn, Dwight Howard Too

Brandon Knight accused Metta World Peace of throwing a punch on Sunday in Detroit. The NBA might not have seen said punch but they reviewed the incident and have suspended MWP for the game tonight in Brooklyn.
As if that weren’t enough to already have Mike D’Antoni plan his postgame excuse parade word came down that Dwight Howard will sit again while he lets his shoulder mend. Howard says he is in “no rush” to return which is just fine by Pau Gasol.
Without D12 the Lake Show is 2-0 on this road trip as The Spaniard has looked like the Pau of old.
However as there is now no Peace which means no defensive presence to go against the likes of Joe Johnson or Gerald Wallace. But maybe Howard can deliver one of those passionate messages to the team as he described to Stephen A. Smith yesterday. I’m sure that’s why they’ve been able to hold onto leads late against the Timberwolves and Pistons.
