Weekend Lakers Roundup: Lakers Active on Social Media

Kobe Bryant was active on Twitter and Instagram this weekend as he tweeted a picture of his newest tattoo,

while also posting a picture to Instagram of his rehab process for his ruptured Achilles.

Dwight Howard also was apart of the social media craze as he went on a fishing trip this weekend

He also posted a picture of the day’s catch, which was rather unimpressive.

Pau Gasol made it to Game 3 of the Spurs-Grizzlies series on Saturday in support of his brother, Marc Gasol.

He also gave an update on his recovery from surgery on both knees. The surgery was to help with the tendinitis in his knees that sidelined him a handful of games this season

And what would a social media roundup be without the one and only Metta World Peace.  He expressed his love for people over money late Sunday night in a series of tweets

With Metta’s large contract being one of the Lakers most expendable assets via the amnesty clause, Lakers fans have to hope Metta’s love for people over money might mean a pay cut is in his future.

In other Lakers news, Lakers Nation posed a question to it’s readers based on comments made by Phil Jackson. The zen master has been doing a masterful job promoting his upcoming book, Eleven Rings, which will be in stores Thursday.

At Silver Screen and Roll, an interesting, and possibly optimistic, comparison was made between last year’s Lakers team and another team that recently won a title. And no, it’s not the Miami Heat

Here at Lake Show Life, we had season recaps on Devin Ebanks, Darius Morris, and Kobe Bryant. We also broke down Kobe’s historic season as he fought off father time for at least one more season.

Be sure to check back daily as we’ll continue recapping each Lakers’ season, including Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard, and Steve Nash.
