Apr 21, 2013; San Antonio, TX, USA; Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash (10) shoots during game one of the first round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs against the San Antonio Spurs at AT
The Lakers are going to have a roller coaster of an off season, we all know that; however, we know one person who will be with the team when it’s all said and done — Steve Nash. The 39-year-old point guard is under contract next season, and barring a trade or retirement, he will be with the Lakers in the 2013-14 season.
We can cross retirement off that list. According to reports, Steve Nash swore under oath that he plans on playing in this upcoming season. This is definitely a positive. The Lakers haven’t had a lot of things going their way lately with the injuries, getting swept in the first round, and now the Dwight rumors, but Steve Nash coming back is something to be happy about.
Although Nash was hurt for chunk of the season, he should be back and play up to his Hall of Fame standards that we’ve all grown to love.
