Shaq Has Words For Dwight Howard

Apr 2, 2013; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Jeannie Buss stands with Los Angeles Lakers former player Shaquille O

Shaq, who was on ESPNLA 710, had a few things to say to Dwight Howard. Here’s what the original Superman said:

"“He’s too nice. I’m a connoisseur of giggling and playing and all that and making you laugh and playing with the fans but when I cross that line I’m ready to tear your face off. I don’t care who it is…If I was him, I would get into the same mood I was in.”"

These words have been spoken by many people; it’s nothing we haven’t heard before. It does have some truth to it, though. There is a time and a place for goofing around — that place is at home, not on the court.

Shaq then went on to talk about the pressure being a Laker brings:

"“He should have known all of this when he signed with L.A. He should have known what he was getting into. My advice to him is to look pressure in the face and give it the 1-2 combination and knock it out.”"

Shaq said he’s going to try and motivate Howard because it’s his job to help him, and he said he’s not going to do it nicely. I’m not sure if Dwight will listen to him, but he needs to if he wants to be a better player.
