Monta Ellis recently opted out of his contract with the Bucks, turning down his $11 million option. Chris Broussard is reporting that one of the teams interested in Ellis is the Los Angeles Lakers.
But don’t get too excited Lakers fans. The only way Ellis wears purple and gold next season is via sign-and-trade. And considering the lack of trade assets the Lakers have, the odds of this happening seem incredibly low.
And considering the Lakers have a more dire needs than a scoring guard, I would rank the likelihood of this trade being very low.
Would you like to see Monta Ellis in the Staples Center next season?
