On Thursday night, the Lakers used their only pick, a second rounder, to pick Duke Senior Ryan Kelly with the 48th pick. Kelly helped lead the Blue Devils to an Elite Eight appearance and was a key player for the team.
Kelly will be a stretch four on the Lakers, helping space the floor for Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol. Kelly averaged 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and shot 42.2% from three point range last season under Mike Krzyzewski.
